Annual Eye Exams

Getting regular eye exams is an important part of staying healthy. Our doctor will work with you to fully assess your vision and develop customized treatment plans based on your unique eye health needs.

Eye exams are about more than how well you can see. Your eyes are a window to your health! During a comprehensive eye exam, your doctor can spot signs of hypertension, diabetes, and other health problems of which you may not be aware.

Contact Lens Exams

Whether you currently wear contact lenses or would like to wear them, you will need a contact lens exam. During your eye exam, we check the overall health of your eyes and your vision. If you wear contact lenses or would like to wear contact lenses, then we will specifically evaluate your eyes during the contact lens exam to determine if you are a good candidate to wear contact lenses.  We usually conduct the contact lens exam in addition to a comprehensive eye exam because your doctor will perform special tests to determine your contact lens prescription and proper fit.  One size does not fit all when it comes to contact lenses. During your contact lens exam, your doctor will measure the curvature of your cornea, the front surface of your eye. This measurement will help them select the best type and size of contact for you.

Contact Lenses

Some people prefer to wear contact lenses instead of eyeglasses as their primary means of vision correction because they prefer a more natural appearance or because they are active in sports. Others need specialty contacts because they have unique visual needs caused from Keratoconus or botched laser surgeries. Our doctor will work with you to determine the best contact lens for your condition and get you seeing your best.
